Narrated 'Abdullah: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Anyone who dies worshipping others along with Allah will definitely enter the Fire". I said, "Anyone who dies worshipping none along with Allah will definitely enter Paradise".
Sahih al-Bukhari 1238 (Book 23, Hadith 2)
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَقِيقٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ ". وَقُلْتُ أَنَا مَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the consequences of worshipping someone other than Allah. It was narrated by Abdullah that the Prophet Muhammad said that anyone who dies worshipping others along with Allah will enter the Fire, and anyone who dies worshipping none but Allah will enter Paradise. This hadith teaches us that it is important to have faith in only one God and not worship any other being or thing alongside Him. We should also remember that our actions in this life determine our fate in the afterlife; if we are devoted to God alone, then we can expect a reward from Him in Heaven. On the other hand, if we choose to worship something else besides God then we can expect punishment for it in Hell.
