Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Messenger ﷺ used to say at a time of distress, "La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbul-l-'arsh il-'azim, La ilaha illallahu Rabbu-s-samawati wa Rabbu-l-ard, Rabbu-l-'arsh-il-Karim".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the words that Prophet Muhammad used to say when he was in distress. The supplication includes praising Allah and acknowledging His greatness, power, and mercy. He would say “La ilaha illal-lahu Rabbul-l-'arsh il-'azim, La ilaha illallahu Rabbu-s-samawati wa Rabbu-l-ard, Rabbu l-'arshil Karim” which translates to “There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of Heaven and Earth; Lord of the Noble Throne”. This hadith teaches us that we should turn to Allah during times of difficulty and seek His help through prayer and supplication. It also reminds us that we should always remember how powerful He is and acknowledge His mercy upon us even during our most difficult moments.
