'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: A woman came to me with her two daughters. She asked me (for charity) but she found nothing with me except one date-fruit, so I gave it to her. She accepted it and then divided it between her two daughters and herself ate nothing out of that. She then got up and went out. When Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in, and I narrated to him the story, he said, "He who is involved (in the responsibility) of (bringing up) daughters, and he is benevolent towards them, they would become protection for him against Hell-fire".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity whenever possible; Be kind and generous towards your children; Strive to bring up your daughter with benevolence; Have faith in Allah's mercy & justice; Believe in intercession on the Day of Judgment; Do good deeds even if small amounts; Respect women & girls equally like men & boys .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of being benevolent towards one's daughters, as well as giving charity when possible. It is narrated by Aishah that a woman came to her asking for charity but all she had was one date-fruit which she gave away. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ praised this act of kindness and said that those who are involved in bringing up their daughters with benevolence will have them as a protection from Hell-fire on the Day of Judgment. This teaches us that we should always strive to be kind and generous towards our children, especially our daughters, so they can become an intercessor on our behalf on the Day of Judgment. We should also remember to give charity whenever we can even if it is just a small amount because every good deed counts in Islam!
